About

Robert Sudall is a pianist, organist, composer, and sound bath practitioner, whose artistic vision weaves together an eclectic range of musical traditions and modern practices. His deeply immersive work not only reflects a mastery of his craft but also an ongoing exploration of how music can transcend the ordinary and connect us to something other.

A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studied organ, Robert has gone on to cement a reputation as an artist of notable depth and ambition. His recordings have been featured on BBC Radio 2, and he has released nine albums that showcase an evolving versatility and vision. Robert has performed at festivals, cathedrals and concert venues across the UK and Europe, earning both critical and audience acclaim. His artistry has also been recognised on local and national television, further expanding his reach and influence.

Robert’s compositions and performances are inspired by a fusion of jazz, classical, and ambient electronic genres. Yet, his influences don’t stop at sound—they intertwine with his equally heartfelt interests in nature, permaculture, Sufism, and Therapeutic Shamanism. His approach to music aims to become a vessel for interconnection, aligning with the concept of inter-becoming—a philosophy that emphasises sincere relationships with oneself, community, and the natural world. Robert attempts to cultivate a musical style that embraces imperfection, humility, and depth - preferring to celebrate space within music rather than mere virtuosity.

Beyond traditional music, Robert is also a sound bath facilitator, offering meditative experiences that invite deep healing through carefully curated soundscapes. These sessions embody his ethos of creating beauty from simplicity and fragility, resonating with those who seek solace and introspection.

With an unwavering passion for his craft, Robert continues to explore new horizons. He is an advocate for the power of music to foster connection, transcend boundaries, and celebrate both the visible and unseen threads that weave us together.
