'Other Places' - second album soon to be released!

Robert’s second album of the lockdown period is soon to be self released.

Entitled ‘Other Places’, the album brings Robert back to ambient territory - first explored in his 2018 album, Querencia.
Using a unique combination of instruments, Robert has created subtle soundscapes and warm textures, primarily using a mixture of modular synthesizer, tape loops and field recordings. But he pushes things further still by making use of his Hauptwerk organ. The instruments become almost extensions of each other, with the organ providing a velvet cushion of sound on which the modular synth and field recordings can sit.

Recorded over several months during 2020, the album strikes a reflective mood, weaving gentle melodies against a backdrop of sonic enchantment and hints of nostalgia.
